Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 1, 2026
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. Who we are
This website, michelemariepr.com (the “Site”), is operated by Michele Marie Public Relations, LLC (“Michele Marie PR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are a public relations agency providing PR and related services.
For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR, we are the data controller of the personal information described in this policy.
Questions? Contact us at ops@michelemariepr.com or 100 Crosby St., Suite 402, New York, NY 10012.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you submit our contact form or otherwise reach out, we collect your name, email address, phone number, reason for contacting us, the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to provide.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect: IP address and approximate location; browser, device, and operating system; pages viewed, referring website, and landing page; advertising and analytics identifiers, including the Google click identifier (“gclid”) and UTM campaign tags where present; and cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).
We do not intentionally collect special-category data (such as health, race, religion, or biometric data) through the Site.
3. How we use your information
- Respond to your inquiry and provide the services you request
- Communicate with you about your inquiry or engagement
- Measure and improve the performance of our advertising and website
- Understand which marketing channels bring us inquiries
- Send marketing communications where you have consented or where permitted by law
- Maintain Site security and comply with our legal obligations
4. Legal bases for processing (EU / UK visitors)
- Consent — for optional marketing and, where required, certain advertising/analytics cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to inquiries, measure marketing performance, and protect the Site.
- Performance of a contract — to provide services you request.
- Legal obligation — to comply with the law.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:
- Advertising and analytics providers. We use Google Ads and Google Analytics to measure website and advertising performance. When you reach our Site through a Google ad, a gclid is recorded and may be sent to Google to confirm an inquiry occurred (conversion measurement). Where email data is shared with Google for conversion matching, it is cryptographically hashed before transmission.
- Service providers. We use trusted providers to host the Site and to store and process form submissions (including our website host and Google Workspace / Google Sheets), under contract.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our rights, or to protect any person’s safety.
California residents: sharing personal information with advertising partners such as Google for cross-context behavioral advertising or measurement may be considered “sharing” (and in some cases “selling”) under the CCPA/CPRA. See Section 9 to opt out.
6. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the U.S. and other countries. If you are in the EU, UK, or another region with data-transfer restrictions, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Cookies and tracking technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement, including cookies set by Google Ads and Google Analytics. These help us understand traffic and attribute inquiries to the marketing channel that produced them (including the gclid described above). You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required by law we will request consent before setting non-essential cookies. Disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep form submissions and related inquiry data for 24 months from your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, or business-record purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
9. Your privacy rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your data; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it; to access, correct, or delete it; and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
If you are located elsewhere, including regions with their own data-protection laws such as Australia (Privacy Act) or South Korea (PIPA), you may have similar rights. Contact us and we will honor them to the extent required by applicable law.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at ops@michelemariepr.com. We may need to verify your identity first. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information (California): email ops@michelemariepr.com with subject “Do Not Sell or Share,” and adjust your browser’s cookie and ad-personalization settings.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s privacy
This Site is intended for a business audience, is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be posted on this page.
